Q: Can a modular home be customized?

 

A: Yes, all of Modular Home Place floor plans and elevations can be changed to suit your needs.  

 

Q: Does a customized plans cost more?

 

A1: Yes - If you add to the size of the home, add windows, eliminate load bearing walls, increase the size of the kitchen and the number of cabinets needed, add bathrooms, increase the roof pitch, etc.

 

A2: No - If you decrease the size of the home, number of windows, cabinets etc, the cost of your home will be less than the original standard plan.

 

A3: No - If your customized plan has the same number of windows, doors, walls, roof, ceiling, cabinets, roof pitch as a standard plan, the house will cost almost the same as the standard model that has been customized.  There is no additional costs incurred except for the materials with a customized modular home.

 

 Q: What items can be customized with modular home?

 

A1.   Size of the home - increase or decrease the width, length, height of the modular home.

 

A2.  Windows and Doors - location, quantity, style, size, etc.

 

A3.  Bath Rooms - number of bathrooms, size, fixtures, cabinet types and styles, floor plan etc.

 

A4.  Kitchens - floor plan, cabinet layouts, island units, appliance locations, etc

 

A5.  Roof - Increase or decrease the roof pitch or have a flat roof .  Add storage or living space the attic

 

A6.   Rooms - Sunrooms, breakfast nooks, bump-outs, etc

 

A7.  Ceilings - flat, vaulted, cathedral and the height of the ceiling.

 

A8.  Walls - location, openings, height, etc
